Junior Camps  at Falcon Ridge Golf Club

Our Belief
At Falcon Ridge we are dedicated to investing in youth golfers.  We believe that offering free golf to juniors will help shape the future of the golf industry.

Benefits of Being a Junior

Juniors under the age of 17 play free on both Saturday & Sunday with at least one accompanying adult after 4:00PM. In addition we offer discounted rates for juniors daily.

Every year at Falcon Ridge we run 5 day junior camps for children between the ages of 7 to 15.  We offer basic junior camps for 5 weeks in July and August. All camps are half days from 8:00am to 12:00pm. We only allow 15 kids to register each week and these camps fill up fast. Camp Fees

5 Day Camp $265 plus hst
4 Day Camp $215 plus hst

Your child’s day begins with instruction on the driving range, then a short break with light snack and beverages in the clubhouse. The children then proceed to tee off on the nine hole course with their team mates for actual golf play, (counsellors supervise as they travel between holes). We provide Falcon Ridge hats for every child, we encourage all children to wear their hats for added  protection from the sun. They’re ready for pick up at noon.  Fridays are special with pizza and ice cream treats when they finish their game. 

All junior camps offer the following:

• Golf instructions from a PGA of Canada Professional
• Maximum 15 kids per week
• Nutritious snacks provided each day
• Pizza lunch and ice cream treats provided on Friday

Basic junior camp:

• Education on grip, stance and posture
• Proper weight transfer
• Balance and control
• Takeaway backswing
• Downswing
• Finish Position

Advanced junior camp:

• For those that have the basics down we focus on improving essential golf techniques

Take-A-Kid-To-The-Course-Week

The 2022 week will be in July. Contact the Pro Shop staff for complete details. This means that children under the age of 16 may play free when accompanied by a playing adult (1 adult with 1 child only). During this week we also offer 2 for 1 buckets of balls for the driving range. Please note that these discounts are not valid for large groups and teams.
